How Case-Assisted Triage Works
Case-Assisted Triage (CAT) is CureSureMedico's structured pre-coordination system. It organises medical records, identifies diagnostic gaps, supports clinical review and prepares appropriate cases for specialist and hospital referral — before any international referral decision is made.
Solves: fragmented medical records and unclear referral readiness
The four stages of CAT
- 1
Record Organisation
Available medical records, history and relevant documentation are organised into a structured case file.
- 2
Diagnostic Gap Identification
The case file is reviewed to identify missing information, inconsistencies, and documentation gaps that would affect a referral decision.
- 3
Clinical Review Support
Where clinically appropriate, the organised case is made available for review by qualified medical professionals within CureSureMedico's clinical governance framework.
- 4
Referral Preparation
Once gaps are addressed, the case is prepared for specialist and hospital referral matching.
What CAT does and does not do
What CAT does
- Organises existing medical records into a structured, reviewable case file
- Identifies missing information and documentation gaps before referral
- Supports clinical review within CureSureMedico's governance framework
- Prepares cases for specialist and hospital matching
What CAT does not do
- Replace the treating physician
- Independently diagnose patients
- Make autonomous treatment decisions
- Guarantee clinical outcomes
- Guarantee that international treatment is necessary
CAT organises and reviews documentation — it does not replace the diagnostic judgement of a qualified treating physician. Diagnosis and treatment decisions remain with the patient's treating clinicians at every stage.
