BNH Hospital is a private hospital at 9/1 Convent Road in the Silom district of Bangkok, Thailand, founded in 1898 by the city's British community as a nursing home for foreigners and marketed today as the first private hospital in Thailand, with more than 127 years of continuous operation. A network-affiliate hospital of BDMS (Bangkok Dusit Medical Services) — Thailand's largest private hospital operator, which held a 91.5% equity stake in BNH as of a 2014 investor disclosure — the hospital operates 115 beds per BDMS's own investor relations reporting across 29 medical centers and departments, including women's health, maternity and gynecology, comprehensive orthopaedics and a dedicated spine centre, a cardiovascular-kidney-metabolic centre, colorectal and digestive care, ENT, ophthalmology, dermatology and dental care, neuroscience, asthma and allergy care, breast health, internal medicine, rehabilitation and physical therapy, paediatrics and neonatology, 24/7 emergency and intensive care, surgery and urology, and a dedicated International Travel Medicine clinic for international patients.
